Rain Delays

Another Saturday of fun!

Miranda marched in her first parade!

Elijah played another football game.

It was hot, humid, and miserable.



Lunch break and then we were back for the next round. 

Ah, but then the weather changed.  Just as Keziah started to play soccer, the lightning started to strike.  Game over!  We packed up and retreated to the car...BUT...Josiah's football game was scheduled to start in an hour!

I've decided that football people are just crazy about their game.  Christopher took Josiah over to the shelter house with the rest of the team to wait and see, while I sat in the car with the rest of the crew.

Lightning...thunder...flooding rains...whipping winds...

...HAIL...pea size...golf ball size...baseball size!

Finally they decided to postpone the game!

Nice to have a relaxing evening at home with the kids, eating pizza, and catching up on DVR recordings of our favorite show, "Unnatural History."

Needed that tonight.
