I made cupcakes for school to share with her friends. However, Keziah reported that she hated the icing again this year. Last year I paid to have them made, and she hated them. So this year hard labor, less money, and they are still yucked.
She hopped off the bus and then was immediately ushered into present time!
Requested a new Zhu Zhu pet...
...grumpy that it wasn't a red and black Kung Zhu...
...just a pretty, pink, girlie one
New Veggie Tales DVD...
...Miranda can't wait to watch it
Drum roll, please...
Her parents caved on their declaration against personal gaming devices. She got a Leapster Explorer (It's educational!)
HUGE HIT! She loves it!
Exhausted and hungry, everyone finally returned home.
I had asked Keziah what she wanted for dinner. "CHINESE!!!" Uhm...happy birthday but we'll have to wait until Friday night to gather the troops for a special birthday dinner. Options for tonight - 1. Mom cooks fish (quick and easy) or 2. we grab something out. Would you believe that my fish won?
After dinner we enjoyed more cupcakes in honor of the birthday girl. However, we offered her a leftover, un-iced cupcake since she had already declared the icing yucky. Light the candle, sing "Happy Birthday"! She scraped her teeth across the top of the cupcake and yucked it too.
Waiting for Caleb to light the candle
(Smiling for Daddy's video camera)
"...Happy Birthday, dear Keziah!..."
Wonder what she's wishing for?
Good night, Sweet Princess! Sleep tight! School will come early tomorrow after such a late night tonight.
