Saturday...A Day Late

So much for trying.  I missed another day, again.  But we were really busy on Saturday!  So here's a recap of the day, in brief...

Up bright and early for Tae Kwon Do testing!  Keziah was testing for her Orange Belt.  Miranda was completing some credit testing so she can be ready to advance to the next black belt level.

Love watching my girls KICKIN' IT!

One activity down, but more to come!  The private elementary school where our kiddos have attended held a potluck picnic lunch to celebrate the big 40th anniversary!  The kids had fun playing, eating, and visiting with friends and teachers.  What a huge blessing this school has been for our family!  For the last 12 of the school's 40 years there has been at least one Wade in attendance.  Hadassah is excited that she will be going to school with Elijah and Keziah next year!

Hanging out and having fun

Had enough fun yet?

Well we hadn't!  Loaded up the kids for the Lake Fest.  Well, kinda.  We just wanted to go wait for the fireworks.  Sit relax on our blankets, listen to music, watch trick skiers, and just chillax until dark.  This idea did not go over so well with the kiddos.  Boredom and wrestle mania ended in whining about not having personal gaming devices and questions about why we forced them to come without paying for extra games and activities, food and drink, and light-up toys and junk.

Happy children (we just arrived)

Playing with the settings on my camera and having fun

Fireworks over the lake

Beautiful...and only 7 minutes long

So next year?  I don't know if we want to go with the grouchy people, but the grown ups had fun.
