Kickball Will Never Be The Same

Today is day three of Keziah attending school with the little boys.  Such a good thing!  She's loving it, and so am I.

Her brothers are tolerating her presence.  Elijah confesses that he tries to just avoid contact with her during the day.  Josiah often finds himself in quick embraces from her hug attacks.

In the cool of the morning yesterday, I grabbed the first sweatshirt that I laid my hands on.  Of course it was the school sweatshirt so when it was time for Keziah to put on a jacket to leave for school the whining began.  She wanted her own sweatshirt just like everybody else had.  Lucky for her, Josiah had outgrown his sweatshirt, and I knew right where it was.

Presto!

Though a little large, she's happy wrapped in its warmth.

Every day also brings new funny Keziah stories.  Loved yesterday's!

Kickball is a normal break time game after lunch.  But Keziah has never played kickball before!

The whole game is an exciting new adventure for her, and she lists it as her favorite part of her new school.  Concepts like what to actually do with the ball when you have it in the outfield are baffling especially when all the other kids are yelling over one another to throw it in to stop the play.  The head teacher and permanent pitcher tried to help by instructing Keziah to "turn around and throw the ball."

Can you guess what she did?

Quickly spun around in a 360 degree circle!

When the teacher again tried to help again by correcting her previous statement with, "No, turn around the OTHER way!"

Wanna guess again?

Yep, 360 degrees in the opposite direction.  Then she threw the ball.

LOL!!!  :)
