Now for the big night...the DANCE!

HUGE EVENT!  Miranda enjoyed the evening just going with some friends.  Caleb had a date...hmmm...and a girlfriend too this year.  We had to go to two different friends' houses to two different photo opts.  (Same boy who didn't want me to take pictures at all last year.)  My kiddos were beautiful and handsome and had a great night of fun.

So all the details!  Caleb was WAY easier this year!  He did his own shopping!  Of course that was after consulting Mom and Dad and A. (his date) about best color choices.  Plus, thanks to modern technology, he sent text pictures to get everyone's approval.

Miranda?  We actually bought her dress on clearance after the prom season last spring.  Now we had to ACCESSORIZE!  That shopping was painful!  We found her jewlery first.  It was totally Miranda's style, so sweet and delicate (her mama really likes bling).  Plus it picked up on the floral pattern in her dress.  Then we walked an entire mall looking for the perfect shoes...every store that sold shoes.  My feet were killing me!  Then we found this last shop...a brand new store...only open one week...sold nothing but SHOES!  How could they not be PERFECT!  They matched her jewlery!  (Oh and a low, wide, supportive heel and comfortable for dancing the night away.)

I did inform my sweet girl as we got her all dolled up that night, however, that I did NOT miraculously receive a degree in cosmetology and hair styling the night she was born!  But I think my girl looked BEAUTIFUL...like the princess she is!
