He Came Home on Friday

Sorry not to have updated...

Christopher was MUCH BETTER Thursday night and a totally new person on Friday morning.  He was finally able to eat and keep it down.  So by 12:30pm Friday, he was just sitting waiting for his wheelchair ride to the car.  His best bud was in town so he actually drove Christopher home while I enjoyed waiting at the pharmacy to get his prescriptions filled.

The kids are so glad to have their dad home!

I lectured Keziah on the way home from school that dad would let her see the incisions BUT she could NOT poke them.  Just the night before she had notice the burn on my arm that was healing.  Ever curious Keziah sat at the table with her finger aimed at my wound ready to touch it when I barked at her, "NO POKING!"  It was actually funny to watch her arm freeze in space while her face puzzled over my demand.  She so wanted to touch that it was just about impossible for her to will herself to stop.  So when she actually got home to see the five little super-glued incisions where the "robot arms" and video camera had been inserted, she wanted to get her camera to take a picture.

Uhmmmm....

No you will not see that posted here!  Christopher allowed her to look but did not allow her a press pass.

Will try to blog more about thoughts and such later.  Right now, I'm uber busy and extremely exhausted.

Thanks so much for all the prayers!
