Last year, this video made me cry becasue Hadassah Peiwu was still in China.
This year, it makes me cruy because all my kids are HOME!
Yesterday, I sat through "First Christmas", my favorite annual Christmas concert, with a squirmning little girl (Hadassah Peiwu) on my lap and three more wiggly girls sitting beside me (Miranda, Keziah, and A. - Keziah's BFF and virtual twin separated by thousands of miles and DNA). As exhausting as Hadassah can be at a performance - good, fairly quiet, but incredibly wiggly and squirmy, it was pure joy to experience her delight at the sounds of the Christmas season. I held my littlest girl in my arms and stroked Keziah's hair next to me. We are so blessed to have both of our little girls home. Living breathing reminders of the miracle of Christmas! Of a God who loved me so much and desired for me to be a part of His family that He wrapped His love in the tiny baby born on Christmas day...born to pay the price for my redemption, salvation, and forgivness for my sin on the cross of Calvary so that I could be wrapped in the arms of my Father God as His adopted princess.
