December has been a very musical month. We started off with Keziah and Hadassah's piano recital. Both girls were incredibly cute and did their best. Hadassah was the second performer and played "Away in a Manger" with a little guidance from her teacher. She was so excited to play that she dashed up to the piano when her name was called. Stole the show before she even played a note.
The little girls' Chinese dance class enjoyed their second annual Christmas party! It's a mom and daughter event (no boys allowed) so all three of my girls enjoyed our special evening. They all decided to dress more Chinese and less Christmas.
What party for princesses would be complete without a real princess? The special guest of the evening was Belle! The girls all enjoyed the fun, festivities, and food.
Miranda performed with the concert band's holiday concert. Okay, truthfully, we LOVED this concert not only because there was great music and lots of fun, but also because it was SHORT! It was wonderful for the variety of performances since different ensembles played around the auditorium before the entire band performed briefly on stage.
The very next night was Josiah's orchestra concert! Oh my handsome man! We are so proud of all the progress he has made. It amazing to hear the 7th grade kids and how much they have learned. Then you get to hear the high school students perform...WOW! And, yes, Josiah, you will have to lug that violin to school next year and continue playing. It's almost paid for!
Gonna write another post about more exciting fun...Gingerbread Houses! Stay tuned...
